How often should I change or clean my filters?
Filters should generally be checked every month and be replaced or cleaned if necessary. Replace filters with the same kind and size as original filter. If your filter is not disposable, follow the manufacturers instructions for cleaning.
How often should I have my furnace serviced?
We recommend a yearly inspection and tune up from a qualified service technician.
How long can I expect my furnace to last?
A furnace should last anywhere from 15-20 years based on a regularly maintained furnace.
Will replacing my furnace save on my energy bill?
Depending on what efficiency your present furnace is, you will save any where from 15% - 50% in gas consumption. Upgrading to a variable speed furnace with the D/C blower motor option, can save you up to 90% on power usage.
What warranty comes with my furnace?
A basic manufacturers warranty is 10 year parts, 1 year labour, and lifetime heat exchanger from date of installation.
What are the benefits to an extended parts and labor Warranty?
An extended warranty protects you from unexpected and unbudgeted service calls for the duration of the warranty. Extended warranties are generally purchased in addition to the equipment. We offer extended warranties that cover all parts and labour for either 10 or 15 years.
Is there any advantage to running my furnace fan continuously?
Yes, running your fan continuously circulates
the air, allowing for more even temperature throughout
the house and continuously filtering the air.
If I have two furnaces can I replace them
with only one?
This is definitely an option. Depending on the layout of the duct work and accessibility to the duct work, a zoning system may be incorporated. This would allow you to have separate control of heating and cooling on each level of your home.
What do I do if my furnace stops working or encounters problems?

Should I cover my outdoor condensing unit in the winter?
Covering the unit is not necessary, however a winter cover will keep it cleaner in areas where you have a lot of trees and shrubs. Air conditioners are manufactured to withstand all possible climate changes including rain and snow.
